Customer: “I don’t think I can afford this, Julie.”
Salesperson: “Steve, you and I both know that you are going to spend your money one place or another. It always finds somewhere to go right?”
Customer: “Yeah it does.”
Salesperson: “Would you rather spend the money on something that you need/want, that improves your quality of life, and that you receive an actual benefit from, or do you want to continue to spend it on something you don’t even remember?”
Customer: “You’re right. I am going to waste the money on something stupid. I might as well get something out of it.”
Salesperson: “Congratulations, Steve!”
