Customer: “Julie this total balance is just too much.”
Salesperson: “I understand how you feel Steve, I too felt the balance was too high when I purchased my last vehicle. I found out there was only three ways to reduce this amount. One, purchase a vehicle with less features and benefits than I wanted. Two, try to get a little more for my car, however that is probably not likely. Three, use some of my cash to reduce the balance. Or we could try a combination of all three. Which plan would you prefer?”
Customer: “I don’t want to give up any of the features, but if you can get me a little more for my vehicle, I can give you a little more cash.”
Salesperson: “Assuming I can get you another $250 for your vehicle, how much additional cash will you put down to feel comfortable wrapping this up?”
