Customer: “Looks good Julie, however I am not going to make a decision today.”
Salesperson: “I completely understand that you don’t want to make a decision right now and that is obviously your right. However, reality is, not making a decision is making a decision. You are deciding to stay in the situation that you are trying to get out of. You are deciding to spend money for something that no longer works for you. You are deciding to stay obligated to a vehicle you no longer want. I can see how it seems easier and safer not to make a decision right now, but the truth is the decision you are making by not deciding is going against everything that you are trying to accomplish. Are you going to stay with your old vehicle, that you no longer want, that does not satisfy your needs, and does not solve your current problems or do you want to start improving your situation?”
Customer: “I want to better my situation.”
Salesperson: “That makes the most sense to me, too. Let’s get your paperwork started.”
