Customer: “I just don’t have the budget for this Julie.”
Salesperson: “Of course you don’t have budget for it. You have Netflix, don’t you?”
Customer: “Yes.”
Salesperson: “You did not have that in your budget until you signed up right?”
Customer: “That’s different.”
Salesperson: “I can see how you might feel that way Steve. However, it is more similar than you might think. Netflix is a small monthly payment that you decided you would figure out a way to pay for it because you see the value in the entertainment Netflix offers. The difference between the new vehicle and your current one is just the same, a small monthly payment difference that you will find a way to make because you see the value, right?”
Customer: “You’re right. Let’s do this.”
Salesperson: “Perfect Steve, you are going to get a lot more out of this vehicle than you do your Netflix subscription.”
