    Customer: “I don’t make large buying decisions on the spot Julie.”

    Salesperson: “Look Steve, I think we need to put this decision into proper perspective. This is not a catastrophic life changing decision that will have a negative impact on your financial situation nor on your lifestyle. However, there is a lot of upside and enjoyment to be had by making the decision today, wouldn’t you agree?”

    Customer: “When you put it that way, yeah.”

    Salesperson: “Exactly what I thought. Now let’s put this decision in the rear-view mirror so you can continue forward with your life.”
