Salesperson: “I really need to apologize Steve, for not being able to come to terms with you. I have to ask, and be honest, are you not buying today because of something that I did or failed to do?”
Customer: “No, you were great.”
Salesperson: “Then please allow me to get your new _____ ready to drive home immediately and ensure you do not have to start this process over at the beginning somewhere else. I know you have better things to do with your time than that, right?”
Customer: “You’re right, I don’t want to do that.”
Salesperson: “Perfect! I will have your new ____ readied for immediate delivery. Congratulations.” (Reach out for a handshake)
