Customer: “Julie, I can’t afford these payments.”
Salesperson: “Steve, everyone who has made the same investment you are has said exactly the same thing. Considering that we are getting you a 2% better interest rate than your current loan saving you hundreds of dollars a year in interest. Considering this new vehicle has a full factory warranty, saving you thousands in potential repair costs. And also considering the new vehicle gets 5 more miles per gallon than your current vehicle, saving you at least a thousand dollars per year. Considering all of that, wouldn’t you agree it will actually be less expensive overall to own the new vehicle, than the one you are currently driving?”
Customer: “Yeah, I would.”
Salesperson: “Yeah, I thought so too. Let’s get the paperwork going to you can start taking advantage of these savings.”
